Kelp Forest
Kelp Forest is a huge, lush forest in the Bikini Bottom rural area. Its trees are huge kelp plants and it looks more like a jungle than a forest. Kelp Forest has a large range of plants and animals. It is worth visiting if you enjoy the wildlife and the countryside, but be careful, do not go far away or you will get lost!

The Suburbs
In case you are adventurous and curious, we recommend you to explore Bikini Bottom's surrounding area for a more stimulating experience. Take a look at these two zones listed below and choose the one that catches more your attention!
Rock Bottom
Rock Bottom is a small dark city in a deep-sea trench located under Bikini Bottom. It is connected to Bikini Bottom by a 90 degree angle road.
Everything there is black, except for a few lights, due to the lack of sunlight. They speak a very strange dialect in which words are abnormally written and weirdly spelled. Rock Bottom residents are bioluminiscent and kind of creepy looking. If you are a thrill-seeker, you must get a bus and go deep into this blood-curdling city!
Squidville
Squidville, also known as Tentacled Acres, is a gated community for squids.
It has a high-tech security system and the entrance to any other kind of non-octopus species is forbidden. All the houses are in rows of the same Easter Island Moai Head that Squidward lives in. This community also includes specialised supermarkets, a dance academy, a park with a bike path and a bandstand in which a clarinet trio usually perform. Every building has a particular French style.
