Sightseeing

Bikini Bottom offers a wide variety of cultural spaces and tourist attractions. Take a look at the places we've listed here below and decide which ones are of most interest to you!

The Jellyfish Fields

This place full of bright coral and soft green grass is the perfect spot to keep your inner peace.

As the sun sets in, the display of colors that disbands over the sky, matching with its flower-shaped clouds, recreates an idyllic sight that you must not lose.

If you are a sunset lover, you must take some time of your stay in Bikini Bottom to admire this delightful and colourful performance.

You can spend a few hours playing with the jellyfish here. You should be aware of bothering the jellyfish, as they can end up zapping you with their tentacles.

Jellyfish zaps can cause first-grade burns (third-grade in case you get zapped by the king) that may cause redness and itchy skin.

And the best for last! If the day is windy, you will have the unique occasion of hearing the "Bobhenge" producing an harmonic sound though their holes. This spectacular structure produces an entire melody that catches the attention of the jellyfish, making them dance following the rhythm.

In case of being zapped by a jellyfish, check our FAQ in order to know what to do.

Goo Lagoon

The Goo Lagoon is a large sandy place where you can do many different activities: sunbathing and swimming, weight lifting, exploring caves or eating some candy floss in the amusement park.

Mussels Beach

The Mussels Beach is the ideal place to get tanned while enjoying the view of mussels flying over the sky.

We are not responsible for any damage caused by the Flying Dutchman, for more information check our FAQ

This beach counts with properly trained personal to prevent drownings, so it's pointless to worry. Just focus on enjoying the experience doing sand castles or practicing swimming.

Before leaving, be sure to check the tanning area, where you can enjoy the party while getting as tanned as you like. Beware of using too much reflectors, otherwise you will get your skin burned.

The weight lifting competition area

Do you have what it is needed? Here you will be able to participate in a competition where only the strongest prevails.

If strength is not for you, you can also observe the brutal force this tough guys display, so be sure to get your snacks on point!

Recently, a toxic drink has become popular among weight lifters due to its effects on the muscle growth. This drink is KelpShake, the green juice from the  franchise that was recently shut down. As mentioned in the Restaurants section, avoid any contact with it! (there's still some kelpshake running on the markets).

Exploring the caves

Ready to get into an adventure exploring caves? The Waste Cave is the perfect place to get an interesting story to tell your friends.

As the sun reflects on the water, the minerals start to shine, projecting a mix of blue and purple colour schemes. Be sure to take your camera with you to immortalise this sublime moment!

Fishing zone

As the fishing season approaches, the sea starts getting adorned with colorful hooks with tasty cheese on their points. The old Mr. Krabs knows very well how dangerous they can be due to a traumatising experience he lived in his childhood.

We insistently ask you to be far enough from the hooks to avoid any accident. Therefore, it is only allowed to watch the scene, touching the hooks is completely forbidden.

Conch street

Conch Street is the street where SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward Tentacles and Patrick Star live.

Beginnings

It was only an empty road until a pineapple seed fell from the surface and was planted right there. Once fully grown, the plant was turned into a pineapple-shaped house, which went on sale later on and Spongebob Squarepants decided to buy.

In the meantime, Squidward Tentacles, was building his Easter Island Moai Head house.

During the building site, Patrick Star arrived with a big rock and made his own house beneath. It was revealed that Patrick had been kicked out from his parents' house, so he had to make this rock his new home. This is the reason why he moved to Bikini Bottom from far away.

Nowadays, Conch Street, the most famous road in Bikini Bottom, looks like this.

SpongeBob's Pineapple House

124 Conch Street is the address of SpongeBob's Pineapple house, where he lives with his dear pet snail Gary.

As mentioned before, this house came from a pineapple seed which had been planted and, later on, it was turned into a pineapple-shaped house.

Description

It is a gigantic pineapple with blue windows, a door, green leaves and a chimney.

It is spacious and has a lot of rooms inside: a big leaving room at the entrance, a cozy kitchen, an illuminated bathroom, a large hallway that lead to the bedroom and a green flat roof.

Squidward's Moai House

122 Conch Street is the address of Squidward Tentacles' house. It is located in between SpongeBob and Patrick's houses.

Description

The house has a Moai Head shape, a giant statue from Easter Island, Chile.

This building its divided in three floors:

The first one includes a welcoming living room, a fancy kitchen and a dinning room. Besides, there is a hallway which leads to the spiral staircase leading to the second floor. But, there is also an elevator.

Upstairs is his bedroom.

Finally, on the third floor, there is a room which includes a library and backroom.

The architectural seems such a Polynesian style.

Patrick's Rock House

120 Conch Street is the address of Patrick Star's house

Description

This house is a semi-spherical brown rock with a tan arrow-shaped weather vane on top. The rock has hinges to open and close like a functional door.

This house is particularly special, since it has one large room that he changes according to any moment of the day.

Patrick is also known for being able to carry the entire house. And even though it seems a rock, we know that it is actually a big turtle!
